MUNICH – ISSF President Luciano Rossi, Secretary General Willi Grill and Chief of Staff Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo met a delegation of the Association of European Manufacturers of Sporting Ammunition (AFEMS) composed by AFEMS President Thierry Jacobs and Secretary-General Mauro Silvis at the ISSF HQ in Munich.
The meeting was an occasion to discuss future projects and further cooperation opportunities to promote the image of sport shooting disciplines.
President Rossi said: “The ISSF and AFEMS share a commitment to gather and exchange information regarding technical, environmental and standardization issues related to sporting ammunition. By working closely with stakeholders in the industry, as well as European Union and United Nations commissions, they provide an important link for ISSF as we continue to work to study problems, propose solutions and promote our sport.”
