Regretting being relegated so far from Paris and the Olympic Village, the President said he was amazed by the beauty and efficiency of the facilities built by the FFtir. At the same time, he expressed the hope that the Organising Committee would be able to support FFtir’s efforts to make the Games a success.
During the visit, there were numerous meetings with the staff of the French Federation and with the local authorities who are committed, together with the ISSF, to trying to make the stay of the athletes, coaches, technicians, journalists and all those who will arrive in Chateauroux for the next Olympic Games more comfortable and fascinating. To do this, the ISSF will prepare the ISSF HOUSE, a hospitality house where the Olympic medallists can be celebrated and the entire shooting community can be hosted in the best possible way.
