The Executive Committee of the ISSF is gathered at the Headquarters of the Italian Olympic Committee CONI in Rome for a three day workshop and meeting to agree strategic priorities as it prepares for the Olympic Games this summer .
A guest of honour at the meeting today was the President of the Association of International Olympic Federations (ASOIF), Mr Francesco Ricci Bitti, who complimented the organisation for its ongoing efforts to prepare sustainable and positive change to ISSF’s structures and governance.
ISSF President Luciano Rossi said: “This is the start of a new era and the ExCo will be able to assess how we can work to further professionalise our office structure and ensure that we can improve our governance, commercial development and marketing and communications plans. There is great potential for shooting sports and I am looking forward to putting these plans into action.”
