Election Regulations for the ISSF Athletes Committee
(Election will be held during the 53rd ISSF World Championship all Events in Baku, AZE)
1. Composition:
In accordance with Articles 14.1-3 ISSF Constitution, the composition of the Athletes Committee shall be as follows:
1.1 The Athletes Committee consists of 10 (ten) members comprising the Chairman and nine (9) members of which three (3) must have competed or still compete in shotgun, three (3) in rifle disciplines and three (3) in pistol disciplines.
1.2 Six (6) members are elected by the athletes (two (2) of each discipline).
1.3 Three (3) members are appointed by the Executive Committee (one (1) of each discipline) among the remaining candidates running for election considering the gender balance.
1.4 The Athletes Committee must have at least four (4) members of each gender.
1.5 The Athletes Committee shall consist of at least one athlete from Member Federations of every Continental Confederation.
