On August 15th was declared open the 53rd ISSF World Championships all events in Baku, AZE. The ceremony was a cultural immersion with music and art performances.
The official event will take place from August 16th to September 1st when 1249 athletes from 101 countries will compete in 2378 starts of different disciplines on their journey not only to the podium but also for a chance to represent their country on the Olympic Games of Paris 2024. During the event 16 Quota places per discipline will be distributed totalizing 48 Quota places during 15 Olympic Finals.
